  • 1.5 kg beef cubes
  • 1 L beef stock
  • 100 g tomato concentrate
  • 5 yellow onions cut into big cubes
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 big potatoes peeled and cut into halves
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 spoon ground marjoram
  • 3 tbsp powdered paprika
  • 60 g flour
  • Salt and pepper


Season the meat with the salt, pepper and paprika. Set the thermostat to 130°C in Sauté mode and sauté the meat and onions in the oil. When golden brown, add the garlic cloves, tomato concentrate and flour.

Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Set the thermostat to 100°C in Braise mode. Add the beef stock and marjoram. Cook covered for one and a quarter hours.

Add water during the cooking if necessary. When the meat is almost cooked, add the potatoes. Serve hot with sour cream.
