How often should treatments be performed?
You should undergo treatment every two weeks for four to six sessions (two to three months), then once a month for two to four sessions (depending on regrowth).
Maintenance sessions may then be necessary, based on hair distribution, until hair is completely gone. How should I prepare my skin for the first treatment?
Treatment should be performed on shaved skin only, not on epilated skin (no waxing or epilator use – the root must be present).
Can I perform multiple treatments close to one another to accelerate the process?
You cannot treat the same area more than once per week.

Check that the entire surface of the lamp is in contact with the skin.

Skin colour is too dark and the appliance has automatically switched to safety mode.
Why is the indicator light constantly lit?
Check that the bulb is correctly installed in the appliance. If so, then the bulb is dead and must be replaced.

Long-lasting results are achieved after 12 to 18 months, according to the level of hair distribution. Touch-up treatments are sometimes necessary over time.
Isn't this type of epilation dangerous if done on one's own?
Our appliances are equipped with multiple safety mechanisms: skin colour detector, contact detector, UV filter for eyes, etc. They have been tested under dermatological supervision and comply with the strictest safety regulations.
Which hair colours are compatible with IPL hair removal?
IPL devices do not work on red, white, grey and blond hair, as it does not contain enough melanin.

Yes, avoid IPL hair removal whilst under treatment. You must wait a period of two months after the end of your treatment. Consult your physician.
Can I undergo IPL hair removal if I have a tattoo or piercing?
No. Remove piercings from the areas to be treated and cover tattoos, birthmarks, freckles and beauty spots with plasters or opaque white tape.
Which precautions should I take during IPL hair removal?
Do not expose yourself to the sun, UV light or use self-tanner throughout the treatment. Your skin should not be exposed to direct sunlight without protection for more than 15 minutes, or more than an hour in the shade. Protect yourself with a sunscreen with SPF 30 throughout the entire treatment and for at least two months thereafter.
Which precautions should I take before starting IPL hair removal?
Skin must be free of damage (no eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, etc.) and must not have been exposed to sun or UV light for at least four weeks before treatment. It must be free of self-tanner.
