Blackened Redfish

Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 3 teaspoons butter or margarine, melted
- 4 oz. red fish or red snapper fillets
 

Combine all the spices.
 
Brush fish with melted butter. Coat fillets evenly on both sides with pepper mixture.

Cook in a deep sauté pan or sauté pan 2 - 4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
